A Hillside is Tamed

When our client found this beautiful lakefront property in Lake Mohawk they knew they needed to have it. The home underwent extensive renovations which created an amazing living space to enjoy the view of the lake. Outside the home though was unusable and unsafe. After a few summers listening closely to how they use the property these homeowners began their search to find the right solution.

Their conversations led them down a few roads, though none of them felt right. When the theme of Nature Inspired Outdoor Living fell into the picture it started to feel like home. Natural stone stairs were added to create a safe and timeless way to navigate down to the lake. The entire lawn and landscaping of the property was removed and created from scratch catering to the clients wishes and desires. Irrigation, sod, and a boutique planting plan beautified the stone work when the time was right. In the end it was worth the wait.
