A bottom drain Koi pond was perplexing the new home owners with endless maintenance and a lack luster appearance. The existing feature was several versions removed from the original and was in desperate need of a rebuild. Keeping the sights and sounds of water was important, and the client asked if there was a way to do this and have less maintenance. Enter the pondless waterfall conversation.

A deck was also failing and unexciting. The homeowner longed for a new place to enjoy the property and spend time with family. A complete redesign of the space led to a Nara flagstone patio to replace the deck, a massive set of stone stairs, and a waterfall which could have come from a national park. The wildlife has returned and this new space has brought nature a little closer to home. Welcome to Tranquility Falls.
